Chicago Comb makes a products without a lot of parts or components, but we also utilize a supply chain, working with great companies across nation. We're proud that essentially all of the inputs into our production process are made in America.
Starting with raw materials, the stainless steel for our combs is made at a mill in Kentucky, and the titanium is made at an Ohio mill. The metal is laser-cut, finished, and polished in Illinois. We use metal finishing materials made in Michigan. The packaging for our metal combs is made in California and Illinois. Our carbon fiber combs are also made locally in Illinois, and for the carbon fiber combs we use packaging made in Wisconsin, California, and Illinois. We also use packaging supplies sourced from Florida and Georgia. Our leather cases are made only of premium Horween leather, which has been made in the same Chicago location since 1905, and the sheaths are also cut and sewn in Chicago by Ashland Leather.
Making products here in the United States isn't just a marketing slogan -- we take the extra steps to find American suppliers, even for the "little things," and even if it costs more. That's our commitment to manufacturing products that are truly made in America.
